APB Basics explains the settings shared by every Page Builder component. Read these pages once; the component pages link back here instead of repeating them.
- Getting started — Where the Page Builder is on the edit form, how to add, reorder, collapse and remove components, and how to save.
- Section Title and Intro Text — The heading above a component, the switch that shows or hides it, and the optional introduction paragraph.
- Component Width — Make a component span the full content area or a narrower, centered portion of it (from 25% to 100%).
- Columns and Column Gap — How many items sit side by side and how much space separates them.
- Target Placement — Move a component out of the body and into another area of the page: above the title, in a sidebar, at the top or bottom of the main content.
- Container Settings — The box around a component: padding and margins, border, background color, image or video, and parallax.
- Color Style — The preset color palettes (Black, White, Teal Blue, Blue, Orange, Green, Red, Silver and Blue) used by several components.
- Advanced settings — Custom Class (for designers) and Access Control (show a component only to some user roles).
